BEHIND THE STANDARD
I BUILT MORE THAN A BODY.
I BUILT THE STANDARD.
Sport has always been part of who I am. I grew up a competitive national swimmer, state level gymnast and national water-polo player. Then life took me in a completely different direction. I stepped away from sport, studied law, commerce and advanced science, built a career, and somewhere along the way I stopped feeling like the athlete I had always known myself to be.
My weight eventually reached 102 kg, I had slowly and completely lost myself over the years without even realising it.
During COVID, after losing my job, I made the decision to rebuild. Not with some grand plan to become a professional athlete, but because I wanted to feel like myself again. I started walking. I changed the way I ate. I took training seriously again.
And I kept going.
In 2023, I stepped on a bodybuilding stage for the first time. I was hooked. A year later, in my first season with the IFBB Pro League, I earned professional status in Figure.
But somewhere between 102 kg and becoming an IFBB Pro, I learned far more than how to change a body.
I learned what I needed from a coach.
Someone who would support me without lowering the expectation. Someone who could tell me when I needed to do more, but was experienced enough to recognise when more wasn’t the answer. Someone who cared about the data, the details and the person behind them.
That is the coach I’ve built myself into, and it’s what The Standard was built around.
I’ll be in your corner, but I won’t bullshit you. I’ll celebrate the wins with you, but I’ll also tell you when I know you’re capable of more. And when something isn’t working, we don’t blindly push harder just so we can say we did.
We look at the data. We adjust. We keep moving.
Because your starting point doesn’t define your standard.
